Adding/Deleting Dimensions and Dimensional Tolerances
Adding/Deleting Dimensions and Dimensional Tolerances
You can use the 3D viewer’s “Add Dimensions” tool to add new dimensions and set tolerances for added dimensions.

1. Click
, and then click 2 points (hole center, center of the arc of a slotted hole, a face, or side) to which you want to add dimensions to.


2. Click where you want the dimensions to be displayed.

3. Select the dimensional tolerance from the displayed “Add Dimensions” dialog box, and click “Update”.
You can select from “Bilateral Tolerance”, “Unilateral Tolerance”, or “Free input.”
Tip
Diagonal dimensions can be added to the holes.

*Side holes are not supported.
Deleting Dimensions and Dimensional Tolerances
You can delete dimensions and tolerances that you no longer require by using the 3D viewer tool “Delete PMI”.

1. Click
, and then click the dimension you want to delete.

Notes
- Initial display information such as external dimensions and hole information cannot be deleted.
- Select [Delete all PMI] in the [Delete PMI] dialog box to delete all PMI except that which is part of the initial display.
