Basic Modeling Rules

Modeling Rules Example
The plate thickness must be uniform. Example
Model the inner radius (R) of a bend to be 0 or more and the plate thickness or less. Model the outer radius (R) to be [inner radius R] + [plate thickness].
  • *Automatic quotation is not possible for models with non-uniform thickness. The model modification function can be used to fix these models and may allow automatic quotation.

Example
  • *Bending inner radius should be 10mm (.254″) or more, and bending outer radius should be inner radius + plate thickness.
  • *For the range of bending radius, please refer to the “Range of Bending Radius“.
